Makieyenka Aliaksei Mikalayevich visited Pastavy District on a working visit

As part of the "Unified Information Day", Alexey Nikolaevich Makeenko, Deputy Head of the "Vitebsk Regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations", visited Postavy district with a working visit.

The first word was given to the invited guest - Dmitry Viktorovich Kutalyov, Head of the Internal Affairs Department of the Postavy District Executive Committee. He spoke about the operational situation in both the district and the republic, reminded those present about common methods of fraud both in real life and on the Internet. "Unfortunately, the topic of driving while intoxicated remains relevant," Dmitry Viktorovich continued, "Even if a person is confident in their 'abilities', alcohol negatively affects the perception of the real picture and categorically prevents adequate driving." Also, the issue of speeding, the non-observance of which takes many lives, has been, is, and remains a concern.

Employees of the Postavy District Department for Emergency Situations were presented with a film about the results of the activities and important events of the Ministry of Emergency Situations structure for August.

Then, the Deputy Head of the "Vitebsk Regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations" continued. In turn, he reminded about the upcoming national holiday and told several historical facts directly preceding the creation of this holiday. He reminded about the importance of his country's history, and also reminded about mankurts. Domestic injuries, as well as the observance of rights, legality, and law and order, do not go unnoticed. He once again reminded the algorithm of actions in case of injuries.

In honor of the Year of Historical Memory, and with the support of the Republican Public Association "Patriots of Belarus", employees of the Postavy District Department of Emergency Situations, and personally Alexey Nikolaevich, installed a memorial plaque at the mass grave in the village of Mankovichi. Later, a representative of the Postavy Local History Museum spoke about the history of the memorial's creation. At the end of the event, the employees paid tribute to the heroes who died for a peaceful sky above our heads.
