Postavy rescuers took part in the Unified Greening Day campaign

When we hear the word "rescuers," the first images that come to mind are of people rushing into fires, pulling victims from under rubble, and providing first aid. These are heroes whose work involves risk and self-sacrifice, saving lives in the most critical situations. But there is another side to the coin, less visible but no less important – the contribution of rescuers to the greening of our homeland.

The rescue service in Postavy, like in many other regions, has long gone beyond responding to emergencies. Aware of their responsibility to future generations and the fragility of the environment, rescuers actively participate in environmental protection activities. Their professional skills, discipline, and readiness to act make them indispensable assistants in preserving and enhancing the green wealth of their native land.

Thanks to the close cooperation between rescuers and local authorities, the streets of Postavy have become a little greener.
