Postavy rescuers celebrated their professional holiday. How was it?
An event dedicated to "Rescuer's Day of the Republic of Belarus" was held at the Postavy District Department for Emergency Situations, during which outstanding employees who made a significant contribution to the prevention of emergencies were honored.
The event began with the words of the Head of the Postavy District Department for Emergency Situations:
"Dear colleagues! Being a rescuer is a conscious choice made by everyone present here. Those who swore to serve for the good of the homeland and the people, protecting human life and health from the destructive force of the elements! On January 19, 1999, our country, by Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus "On State Holidays...", celebrated Rescuer's Day of Belarus for the first time. Today, the Ministry for Emergency Situations turns 23 years old. Yes, this is relatively little, but so much has been done over these years. We have become not just a service whose main task was to extinguish fires. We are ready to cope with almost any emergency, accident, and disaster, and to help people in trouble."
For exemplary performance of their duties, having made a significant contribution to the prevention and elimination of natural and man-made emergencies, employees of the Postavy District Department for Emergency Situations were awarded during the event:
- The breastplate of the Ministry for Emergency Situations "Excellent Worker": Senior Warrant Officer of Internal Service Yasinsky Alexander Ivanovich.
- The Jubilee Medal "20 Years of Bodies and Units for Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus": Captain of Internal Service Lysyonok Pavel Evgenievich; Captain of Internal Service Khilevich Alexander Nikolaevich; Lieutenant of Internal Service Kadushkevich Sergey Alexandrovich; Warrant Officer of Internal Service Slabodyanyuk Ivan Vyacheslavovich; Senior Sergeant of Internal Service Pestun Evgeny Alexandrovich.

Also, the anniversary of one of the officers, who celebrated his birthday on the eve of the holiday, did not go unnoticed. By decision of the officers' assembly, Igor Iosifovich was awarded a bonus, formed from the proceeds of the officers' assembly of the Postavy district.
