Sowing campaign — under the control of law enforcement officers

With the arrival of spring and the start of field work, employees of the Postavy District Department of Internal Affairs monitor agricultural enterprises in the district, during which they check the safety, technical condition and serviceability of equipment, the conditions created to ensure the safety of inventory, and fuels and lubricants.

To assist the heads of agricultural organizations in ensuring public order, suppressing drunkenness at work, organizing the work of security guards, monitoring the elimination of identified shortcomings, and conducting appropriate preventive work, mobile groups operate daily. The main task is to eliminate the causes and conditions that contribute to the commission of offenses and hinder the effective conduct of the sowing campaign.

In case of minor theft of inventory, the perpetrator is brought to administrative responsibility under Article 11.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Belarus, which entails a fine of 2 to 30 basic units or administrative arrest.

It should also be noted that, according to Article 13.23 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Belarus (Illegal circulation of petroleum liquid fuel in the Republic of Belarus), namely Part 3, liability is provided for the acquisition, storage, use, and sale of colored petroleum liquid fuel (automotive gasoline, diesel and domestic fuel of all brands), supplied in the established manner to organizations performing work related to the production of agricultural products, in the form of a fine of 10 to 50 basic units with confiscation of fuel.
