Assistance from Postavy youth to pensioners

Activists of the Belarusian Youth Public Organization of Rescuers and Firefighters from Secondary School No. 1 in Postavy, as part of the Republican campaign "Youth for Safety!", visited lonely elderly citizens in their city.

Helping people is one of the most worthy and noble endeavors. By duty, the Ministry of Emergency Situations always comes to the rescue. But who will come to the rescue not out of duty, but out of the kindness of their heart? In Postavy, there are young people with kind souls and golden hands ready to selflessly help those in need. In spring, an unkempt plot becomes a potentially dangerous place due to mass dry vegetation fires, which means it needs to be tidied up in autumn. This is what the activists, together with employees of the Postavy District Department of Emergency Situations, did. The strength needed to clear the plot leaves elderly people, but this does not give them a reason to give up.

In addition to household help, the pensioners received communication with the younger generation and a little attention, which warmed them on this cool autumn day.
