Colonel Vladimir Safonov has been appointed Chief of Staff - First Deputy Commander of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Belarus. The corresponding decree No. 39 was signed by President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko on 5 February, the press service of the head of state told BelTA.
