I plan to take my personal laptop abroad. Do I need to declare it when exporting it from the country?

          Goods for personal use, regardless of their value, weight, and/or quantity, are exported from the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union (hereinafter - EAEU) without payment of customs duties.

In accordance with paragraph 10 of Article 260 of the EAEU Customs Code, an individual has the right, at their discretion, to declare an exported laptop using a passenger customs declaration.

 Goods for personal use, imported into the customs territory of the EAEU after their temporary export from the customs territory of the EAEU, are imported into the customs territory of the EAEU without payment of customs duties, taxes, provided there is a passenger customs declaration issued upon the export of these goods from the customs territory of the EAEU.
