"Open the season without violations!" – a preventive campaign that the State Automobile Inspectorate will hold throughout the republic from April 24 to May 4

With the onset of the warm season, the problem of injuries to drivers and passengers of two-wheeled vehicles becomes more acute. This year, due to the abnormally warm winter, motorcyclists took to the roads already in February. In 3 months, due to the fault of motor vehicle drivers, 12 accidents occurred in the Republic of Belarus, in which 2 people died and 11 were injured.

During the campaign, events will be held aimed at explaining the rules of safe riding on motorcycles and mopeds. In cooperation with the heads of motorcycle clubs, preventive work will be organized to improve discipline, foster mutually respectful relations on the roads, and promote a culture of driving among motor vehicle owners.

Planned raid activities will include overt, covert, and mixed control of road traffic, including the involvement of motorcycle patrols. Throughout the country, traffic police officers will work on highways and in settlements to prevent violations by motor vehicle drivers. Raid groups will identify unlicensed drivers, exclude unregistered motor vehicles and those with structural modifications from road traffic.

Dear drivers! Do not forget about road culture and take care of yourselves. We wish everyone a safe season opening!
