On May 25, as part of the Unified Information Day, the Internal Affairs Department of the Postavy District Executive Committee was visited by Viktor Rotchenkov, Head of the Main Department of the State Automobile Inspectorate of the Public Security Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, and Mikhail Dyadichkin, Head of the State Automobile Inspectorate of the Public Security Police of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee.

The main topic of the meeting: "Trends and new directions for tourism development in Belarus."

Why is this important for the police? Because domestic tourism today is a key "driver" of the country's economy. And the safety of tourists and road infrastructure directly affect the tourist flow.

They discussed how our country is becoming even more attractive for travelers and what new forms of recreation are gaining popularity.

But that's not all. Viktor Ivanovich also touched upon purely official matters:

- discipline and legality among personnel.

- institution of mentorship in internal affairs bodies — how experienced employees transfer knowledge to young ones.

- work of leaders with the new generation of law enforcement officers.

And something important for everyone: cybersecurity. The speaker reminded: the most vulnerable to cybercriminals are children and their parents. Attacks, fraudulent schemes, account theft — the whole family is at risk.
