Peculiarities of declaring goods belonging to an individual under 16 years of age
In accordance with subparagraph 10) of paragraph 14 of Article 260 of the Customs Code of the Eurasian Economic Union, customs declaration of goods for personal use by an individual under 16 years of age is carried out by the accompanying person (one of the parents, adoptive parents, guardians or trustees of that person, another accompanying person, or a representative of the carrier in the absence of accompanying persons, and in the case of organized departure (entry) of a group of minors without the accompaniment of parents, adoptive parents, guardians or trustees, other persons – by the group leader or a representative of the carrier).
Information about goods for personal use of individuals under 16 years of age is indicated together with information about goods for personal use of the person accompanying the said individuals, in one passenger customs declaration.
Please note that when customs declaring goods of individuals under 16 years of age, by the person accompanying them, including the group leader of such persons or a representative of the carrier in the case of organized departure (entry) without the accompaniment of parents, adoptive parents, guardians or trustees, other persons, an inventory of goods is drawn up with a breakdown by each individual.
