The Historical and Local Lore Museum "History of the Native Land" (Lyntupy) was founded on April 10, 1999. The founders of the museum are KOLOSOV S.A., NECHAEVA M.I., VASILYEV S.S.
The museum's collection comprises over 700 exhibits.
The exhibition is presented in the following sections:
Witnesses of the past: fossils found in the Lyntupy quarry during excavations in 1977. Also, a collection of coins and paper money from different eras is gathered here;
From the life of our ancestors: the stands present documents reflecting the life of Lyntupy residents during 1920 – 1940;
Lyntupy and surroundings: here you can learn about the history of Lyntupy and surrounding villages, as well as get acquainted with several authentic documents from the late 19th century;
Genocide in Lyntupy: pages of the history of the Jewish population during the German occupation;
Occupational regime in Lyntupy: the stand presents elements of soldiers' uniforms, documents of that period;
Liberation of Lyntupy: evidence of the liberation of the settlement in July 1944;
Veterans of Lyntupy: documents, letters;
Enterprises and organizations of Lyntupy: the exhibition presents materials on the history of railway construction through Lyntupy, the creation of a distillery, the Lenin state farm,
a certificate of work on the fortress road in 1888, a certificate of work as a station master of the imperial railway in 1918;
Education in Lyntupy: the stand presents samples of school uniforms, educational documents issued at different times, school textbooks, photos of school graduations, school days, a pioneer tie, the banner of the pioneer and Komsomol detachments. Also presented here is a student's calendar for the 1913-1914 academic year;
Belarusian hut: this section reflects various aspects of the culture and life of the population from the late 19th to early 20th centuries. The most valuable exhibits include: a chest, a spinning wheel, combs for carding flax, elements of a weaving loom, mortars, troughs, embroidered towels, barrels, bread shovels, a wooden plow, a harrow, scales. There are also local tiles and bricks.
