Duties of a customs representative
 The duties of customs representatives are regulated by Article 405 of the Customs Code of the Eurasian Economic Union (hereinafter – the Code, EAEU) and Article 313 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus dated 10.01.2014 No. 129-Z "On Customs Regulation" (hereinafter – the Law).

For example, customs representatives are obliged to submit reports to customs authorities using information technologies in accordance with the legislation of the EAEU member states.

Subparagraph 1.13 of paragraph 1 of Article 313 of the Law obliges a customs representative to activate a personal electronic account created on the basis of a single portal of electronic services, and (or) to be the owner (user) of an information system (resource) integrated with the state-wide automated information system to ensure information exchange of electronic documents and data with customs authorities, and (or) a subscriber of the interdepartmental electronic document management system of state bodies of the Republic of Belarus.
