On the conduct of the Special Complex Event "Byt"

To take additional measures aimed at preventing crimes against the life and health of citizens in the sphere of family and domestic relations, and to draw the attention of the general public to the problems of domestic violence, a special comprehensive event "Byt" is being held in the republic from July 29 to August 3, 2019. One of the tasks of this campaign is to involve broad segments of the population in providing assistance and support to state bodies in solving problems of domestic violence by applying individual crime prevention measures to individuals with antisocial behavior.

For victims of domestic violence, a national "hotline" (tel. 8-801-100-8-801) operates on an ongoing basis, through which you can receive free, anonymous consultation on issues related to domestic violence.

Based on the State Institution "Postavy Territorial Center for Social Services of the Population," a "crisis room" has been created and operates for victims of domestic violence. You can get detailed information about the work of the "crisis room" at the Postavy District Department of Internal Affairs by phone 41002, 42506 (Monday – Friday from 9:00 to 18:00).
