The campaign "Digital Literacy Week" has started in the Vitebsk region

From November 26 to December 2, the republican preventive campaign "Digital Literacy Week" will be held in the Vitebsk region.

Law enforcement officers will conduct a series of events aimed at raising public awareness of cybercrimes and ways to protect against them, and will teach safe online behavior.

Particular attention will be paid to preventing minors from being involved in fraudulent activities and to the procedure for carrying out transactions with digital tokens.

As part of the campaign, specialists will visit work collectives and educational institutions, talk about the most common types of cybercrimes, including those committed using neural networks, focus on current methods of online fraud, and give practical advice on how to protect against them.

They will remind about online behavior rules, how not to fall victim when buying goods, and how not to fall for fake offers to invest in digital currency.
