The campaign "Guarding Digital Literacy" has started in the Vitebsk region

From May 26 to June 5, the Vitebsk region will host the republican preventive campaign "Guarding Digital Literacy".

The complex of measures includes informing the public about modern methods and techniques of deception used by cyber fraudsters on the Internet, countermeasures and prevention.

In order to increase the level of digital literacy of the population, and to form safe online behavior skills, police officers will give presentations to labor collectives, educational institutions, and will also provide information on measures to protect against cybercrimes during individual conversations with citizens, including the most vulnerable categories: minors and the elderly.

While the overall level of cybercrime is decreasing, the problem remains relevant and requires constant attention. The lack of awareness of modern fraud schemes is still one of the main reasons why fraudsters continue to deceive citizens.
