A special preventive event "Green Shield" will be held in the Postavy district from May 18 to May 22, 2026.

 Its purpose is to prevent fires in natural ecosystems and minimize their consequences, reduce deaths and injuries from fires, and improve the level of safety culture among the population. MES employees organize raid events aimed at identifying potential fire-hazardous areas, and conduct preventive explanatory conversations with residents.

As of May 11, 2026, 13 fires have been registered in natural ecosystems in the district. The MES urges to observe fire safety rules when tidying up the adjacent territory and land plots.
