The republican campaign "For Safety Together!" starts in Postavy region.
From October 17 to November 2, 2022, Postavy District will host events to prevent fires and deaths from them in residential areas as part of the national campaign "For Safety Together!". In addition to rescuers, representatives of internal affairs bodies, healthcare, social services, mass media, housing and communal services, and energy services will take part in the campaign.
The purpose of the campaign is to reduce the number of fires caused by non-compliance with fire safety rules in residential buildings and structures, settlements and territories, to increase public awareness of the capabilities of state organizations to provide services in the field of fire safety, to strengthen law and order, to prevent offenses committed by citizens in a state of alcoholic intoxication. The campaign events are aimed at increasing the level of public safety, intensifying fire prevention work, analyzing its effectiveness and assessing the readiness of territories and citizens' households for the spring-summer fire hazard period.
MCHS employees will visit lonely and single elderly citizens and disabled people, families with children in socially dangerous situations at their place of residence, and provide explanations and recommendations for improving fire safety in homes. Joint raids, information exchange, and meetings with labor collectives are planned during the campaign.
