State Youth Policy

State youth policy is an integral part of state policy in the field of socio-economic, cultural, and national development of the Republic of Belarus and represents a holistic system of legal, organizational-managerial, financial-economic, scientific, informational, and personnel measures aimed at creating the necessary conditions for young citizens to choose their life path, for their responsible participation in the life and development of the Belarusian state and society. Youth is considered as a social-age group of the population aged up to 31 years.

Youth policy in Postavy District is implemented in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus, the Law of the Republic of Belarus of December 7, 2009, No. 65-Z "On the Fundamentals of State Youth Policy," the State Program "Education and Youth Policy" for 2021–2025, and other regulatory legal acts on the implementation of state youth policy.

More than 5,000 people aged 14 to 31 live in Postavy District, which accounts for about 16% of the total population.
