Welcome Address
Journalists have recently dubbed it "Little Switzerland." They also say it's where East meets West.
Postavy is an ancient town with a rich history, unique historical and architectural heritage, a special geographical location, and incredibly picturesque nature.
Today, our town is experiencing a new era of revival – it is being built, renovated, landscaped, and becoming more beautiful every day.
The district's national economy is developing steadily and dynamically, the social sphere is functioning successfully, and the well-being of its residents is growing.
But our main pride and wealth are the wonderful, talented, hardworking, and hospitable people who bring fame to our region.
Postavy is the venue for the International Festival of Folk Music "Zviniać Cymbals and Harmonica," which has become the town's calling card. In 2006, the republican holiday – Day of Belarusian Written Language – was held in the town, making our town even more famous and popular.
The Postavy region has preserved a history rich in vibrant events, which attracts a large number of tourists. New tourist routes are developing every year. The "Ozerki" sports and tourist complex has been built.
I am confident that everyone who visits our website will learn a lot of new and interesting things about the Postavy region, will come to love it, and will certainly want to visit this beautiful corner of Belarus!
