Lukashenko congratulates Ethiopian President Taye Atske Selassie on his 70th birthday

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has congratulated President of Ethiopia Taye Atske-Selassie on his 70th birthday. BelTA learned this from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

"You have dedicated your life to the patriotic service to the Ethiopian people, selflessly defending the interests of your country on the world stage," the congratulatory message reads.

The head of state noted the intensification of the political dialogue between the countries, the strengthening of bilateral ties, the similarity of approaches to global agenda issues, and interaction on international platforms, primarily the UN and BRICS.

"I confirm Belarus' readiness to expand partnership with Ethiopia and hope that in the near future we will launch cooperation projects in industrial cooperation, agricultural mechanization, education, culture, and other areas of importance for our states," Alexander Lukashenko stressed.

The President of Belarus wished the President of Ethiopia health, happiness, and success in his responsible activities.
