Lukashenko on Vitebsk Oblast prospects: A step-by-step anti-crisis plan is needed
Vitebsk Oblast needs a step-by-step anti-crisis plan, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said at a meeting on certain issues of the socio-economic development of Vitebsk Oblast, a BelTA correspondent reports.
"We need a step-by-step anti-crisis plan. A clear, specific, and feasible one," the Belarusian leader stressed.
Aleksandr Lukashenko recalled that a large-scale meeting on the socio-economic development of the Vitebsk region was held in October 2025. He noted that the situation in the region is worse than in other regions, but the others should not be complacent. "What we see in Vitebsk Oblast is typical for all oblasts. I want you to hear this and convey it to every governor," the Belarusian leader stressed.
