Legalization

Official documents issued by state institutions of the Republic of Belarus for use in foreign countries must be legalized in the prescribed manner.

For states party to the Hague Convention of October 5, 1961, consular legalization of documents is not required. Documents issued by state institutions of one of the member states are valid in the territory of other member states provided that they bear the "APOSTILLE" stamp.

Apostille (legalization) on certificates of civil status registration (marriage certificates, birth certificates, death certificates, divorce certificates, etc.), certificates issued by civil registry offices of district, city executive committees and local administrations of districts in cities, Houses (Palaces) of Civil Ceremonies of city executive committees, village and rural executive committees, archives of civil registry offices of main justice departments of regional executive committees, Minsk City Executive Committee is affixed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus.

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday (except holidays and weekends): 

document submission – from 08.00 to 10.30; 

document collection – from 15.00 to 16.00. 

Wednesday: document submission - from 11.00 to 13.00;

            document collection - 18.00 to 20.00.
