The kitchen is not only the coziest place in the house, but also the most dangerous

It is within everyone's power to make it not only cozy but also safe. To do this, you need to understand what can pose a danger and how to avoid it.

  • Try to keep anything that can catch fire away from the stove: towels, pot holders, paper bags, and boxes.
  • Do not cook in the kitchen wearing clothes with wide, long sleeves. Long hair should also be tied back.
  • Never leave food cooking unattended.
  • Pans and pots with long handles should be placed on the stove with handles facing the wall (but not over active burners) while cooking. In this case, children and pets will not be able to accidentally knock them over.
