House roofs have become a high-risk area
Temperature fluctuations and heavy precipitation lead to the formation of ice and icicles, as well as sudden snowfalls.
What is important to know and remember:
- Do not walk close to buildings. Try to stay away from house walls, especially if there is snow or icicles on the roof.
- Pay attention to warning signs and fences. They are placed not for formality, but to protect you from injuries.
- Do not pass under fenced areas, even if it seems that there is no danger.
- Do not stand under balconies, cornices, and downspouts.
- Parents should pay special attention to their children. Explain to them why they should not play near houses and knock down icicles.
- Drivers are not recommended to park cars close to buildings.
