VI Republican Contest "Family of the Year – 2024"

On May 18, 2024, in Vitebsk, the first stage of the republican contest among large families "Family of the Year" will take place, dedicated to the celebration of Family Day.

To participate in the contest, an application, an information certificate about the family, and written consent of adult family members for the processing of personal data for the purpose of participating in the contest must be submitted to the Committee on Labor, Employment and Social Protection of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee by the organization at the place of employment of one of the parents (labor collective) or by the district/city executive committee.

The winner of the contest is the family that scores the highest total number of points based on the results of the contest task.

The winner receives a Diploma of I degree. In accordance with the number of points scored, prize-winners are determined from among the participants of the first stage of the contest, who receive a Diploma of II degree (one diploma) and a Diploma of III degree (one diploma). The value of prizes for diplomas is set as follows:

for a Diploma of I degree – up to 30 basic units;

for a Diploma of II degree – up to 20 basic units;

for a Diploma of III degree – up to 15 basic units.

Prizes are awarded in monetary and/or in-kind form.

Contest tasks:

"My Family – My Country" (up to 15 minutes):

presentation of the family's "Family Tree" business card:

1.1. (brief presentation of the history of their lineage, family customs and traditions, achievements of family members, etc.) evaluated by:

completeness of revealing the history of their lineage;

ability to emphasize the uniqueness (distinctive feature) of their family.

presentation of a socially significant project reflecting

the family's contribution to the life of the region:

1.2. (presentation of the active life position of family members, their hobbies, successes and achievements; participation (contribution) of family members in the socially useful and cultural life of the region) evaluated by:

social significance and originality of the project;

ability to creatively express and declare the active life position of the family.

Additionally, the following are evaluated:

style and aesthetics of material presentation (musical and artistic design, costumes, speech, etc.);

degree of participation of all family members in the task presentation.

Contest evaluation system – 7-point: maximum score – 7; minimum score – 1.
