Complex of preventive measures in relation to certain categories of citizens

Despite the measures taken by the internal affairs bodies, negative trends are observed in certain regions of the Republic, caused by an increase in the number of especially grave and grave crimes against life and health. Despite a decrease in the number of repeat offenses committed by persons not engaged in work or study, their proportion remains quite high, which negatively affects the operational situation. The number of crimes committed by minors or with their complicity has increased.

In order to take systemic measures for individual crime prevention, preventive measures aimed at increasing the effectiveness of crime prevention activities, the main stage of the Complex of Preventive Measures for Certain Categories of Citizens will be carried out in the Republic of Belarus from December 20, 2024, to January 08, 2025.

During this event, visits will be organized with the involvement of prevention entities and other interested parties to the places of residence or stay of various categories of citizens, with the application of individual prevention measures.

Special attention will be paid to residential premises registered with the Internal Affairs Department of the Postavy District Executive Committee, which will be worked out, including with representatives of housing and communal services and emergency departments. Employees of the Postavy District Department of Internal Affairs, together with representatives of educational institutions, will visit minors for whom individual preventive work is organized, as well as families whose children are recognized as being in a socially dangerous situation due to parents leading an immoral lifestyle. Families to whom children, previously recognized by the Juvenile Affairs Commission as needing state protection, have been returned within the last 6 months will also not be overlooked.
