Brief description of Kamai Village Council
Kamai Village Council was formed on October 12, 1940. The administrative center is
ag. Kamai - located 18 km from Postavy.
The territory of Kamai Village Council occupies 31451.6735 ha. It borders with Lyntupy, Yunkovo, Kuropolye village councils.
The total population is 1839 people, of which 1051 are of working age, 556 are pensioners, 232 are children.
There are 84 settlements on the territory of the village council, the largest of which are: ag. Kamai, villages Verenki, Mulyary, Dvorchany, Svirany, Myaguny.
