The information and advocacy campaign "Do not leave children alone!" starts on May 15 in the Vitebsk region

The problem of child injuries is very acute in modern society. One of the most effective ways to solve it is prevention. Knowing the most common causes and conditions contributing to child injuries and deaths makes it easier to take measures to exclude them. It is also important to remember that the personal example of parents in observing safety rules is very important in this matter.

To draw public attention to the problem of child deaths and injuries, including those caused by fires, to prevent children's mischief with fire, and to reduce the number of emergencies involving children and ensure their overall safety, an information and propaganda campaign "Do not leave children alone!" will be held in the Postavy district from May 15 to June 1.

The campaign events will take place in crowded places and will include interactive platforms with contests, quizzes, and games for the whole family. Rescuers will also conduct classes with young and expectant parents in healthcare institutions, visit large families, orphanages, family-type homes, and children's camps and sanatoriums.

Dear mothers and fathers, grandmothers and grandfathers, aunts and uncles, remember – in most cases, tragedy can be avoided if carelessness and overconfidence in matters of your children's safety are excluded. When raising a child, instill in them the necessary safety skills from childhood, become a worthy example, and protect your children!
