The State Automobile Inspectorate of Vitebsk Region is conducting raid activities targeting public transport vehicles

Since September 14, the State Automobile Inspectorate of Vitebsk region has been conducting raid events on public transport vehicles. The campaign is held jointly with road transport operators, as well as other interested parties.

In early August, a serious road accident occurred in the Bilevo microdistrict of Vitebsk due to the fault of a shuttle bus driver who drove into the intersection at a red traffic light. As a result of a gross violation of traffic rules, 5 people were injured, two of whom were children.

During the week, inspectors will check the technical condition of minibuses, compliance with rules for admitting drivers to work, and their behavior on the roads. Special attention will be paid to passenger transportation rules.

Raid events will run until September 21.
