2024 - Year of Quality
Head of State Alexander Lukashenka signed
Decree No. 375 "On Declaring 2024 the Year of Quality".
This decision was made to further
improve the quality of life of the Belarusian people, ensure the competitiveness
of the national economy on the world stage, stimulate initiative,
and foster a sense of responsibility for the results of one's work and a sense
of belonging to the future of the country.
Within the framework of
the Year of Quality, emphasis will be placed on increasing Belarus's competitiveness
through careful and thoughtful resource management, implementation of
high-tech and energy-intensive projects, and prioritizing quality indicators
over quantitative ones. Efforts will focus on ensuring quality performance
by stimulating initiative, implementing innovative ideas,
strengthening social optimism in society, and striving to create for the common
good. Priority attention is planned to be given to fostering personal
responsibility among citizens for achieving a high quality of life (sufficient income,
timely medical check-ups, healthy eating, good education,
cultural leisure).
