The State Automobile Inspectorate reminds about the rules for cargo transit during the pandemic

Dear drivers performing international road freight transit through the territory of the Republic of Belarus, including from the territory of the Russian Federation to the Member States of the European Union and Ukraine!

Between two border crossing points of the State Border of the Republic of Belarus, in places established by law, you are obliged to travel only on national roads where it is possible to stop (park) for drivers' rest and meals, and vehicle refueling, according to a specific list. This information is provided by employees of the Transport Inspectorate and the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Belarus upon crossing the border.

Drivers performing transit transportation are obliged to leave the territory of the Republic of Belarus by the shortest route no later than the day following the day of entry into its territory. Exceptions are cases where it is impossible to comply with the specified period due to an accident (breakdown) of the vehicle, as well as unloading, transshipment (reloading) of cargo, replacement of the vehicle, if this is provided for by the terms of the road transport agreement and indicated in the transport documents.

The State Automobile Inspectorate asks drivers of transit vehicles to be understanding of the measures taken and recommends planning their route in advance.
