Citizens and residents of the district often call the district department of internal affairs and ask how to get an appointment with a district police inspector, and what questions they can address to him. The head of the public order and prevention department of the District Department of Internal Affairs, Dmitry Solohub, answers:

— District police inspectors hold citizen receptions every Wednesday. In rural executive committees — from 10:00 to 13:00, in the District Department of Internal Affairs — from 17:00 to 20:00 (office No. 17 in the district department). You can contact them on any issues related to police activities. The district police officer can provide legal advice, explain legislation related to the competence of internal affairs bodies, accept a citizen's statement regarding an administrative offense or criminal crime committed against them. Also, if necessary, they will conduct a preventive conversation with individuals against whom the applicant has complaints.
