The Artisan's House in Postavy, built in 1770, was sold at auction

On December 17, the committee put up for electronic auction the administrative building of Belsoyuzpechat at 15 Lenin Square, Postavy, which attracted significant interest.

The building was constructed in the 1770s as a craftsman's house and holds the status of a historical and cultural heritage site, representing a monument of residential architecture in the Baroque style.

The craftsman's house was structurally divided into two parts: a production area and a residential area.

It is part of the architectural ensemble of the former Market Square in Postavy, which was created on the initiative of the then-owner of Postavy, the Treasurer (Minister of Finance) of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, Antoni Tyzenhaus, who at that time developed mining and industrial activities there. Construction was carried out according to the design of the Italian architect Giuseppe de Sacco.

The building was offered for sale with an 80% reduction from the initial sale price, for 21,155 rubles. Three buyers were found at this price. During the auction, the price increased to 51,830 rubles.

The new owner is a local manufacturing enterprise from Postavy, specializing in comprehensive metal processing.

The craftsman's house in Postavy became the second historical and cultural heritage site sold by the committee this year. Previously, the former Bernardine monastery in Dubrovno found a new owner.

Currently, the committee is offering for sale 6 more historical and cultural heritage sites. These include the Carmelite monastery building in Glubokoye, the distillery building in the agrotown of Plamya, Sennensky District, the postal station in the village of Pogrebenka, Sennensky District, the forge in the agrotown of Dvor-Nizgolovo, Beshenkovichsky District, and manor houses in the village of Goloshevo, Tolochinsky District, and in the village of Novaya Zhizn, Ushachsky District.

Auctions for these properties are scheduled by the committee for January. It can be noted that all properties are offered for sale at one basic value. A mandatory condition of sale is their restoration.
