"House without fire": in the city of Postavy and Novoselkovsky Village Council from May 12 to 17

 

From May 12 to 17, a special preventive event "House Without Fire" will be held in Postavy and Novoselkovsky rural council. As part of this initiative, special attention will be paid to improving fire safety in the residential sector and fostering a responsible attitude among citizens towards preventing fire incidents.

During the events, the following key areas will be addressed:

·          Checking the serviceability of electrical equipment and heating appliances: Faulty wiring and stoves are among the most common causes of fires. Specialists will remind about the rules for operating electrical appliances and stove heating.

·          Prohibition of smoking in bed: Careless handling of fire, including while smoking, is one of the main causes of fires.

·          Availability and serviceability of fire alarms: Autonomous fire alarms are a simple means that can save lives and property.

·          Training on fire safety rules: Knowing the action algorithm in case of fire can play a decisive role.
