Documents for certificate renewal, replacement

To renew a certificate, a tour guide or guide-interpreter must submit the following to the certifying authority no earlier than three months and no later than 30 working days before its expiration date:

• application form (download here);
• three 3 x 4 cm photographs;
• a copy of the professional development certificate (no earlier than two years before the certificate's expiration date);
• documents confirming a valid reason (business trip, temporary incapacity for work, or other circumstances beyond the applicant's control) in case of missing the deadline for submitting the tour guide's or guide-interpreter's application for certificate renewal;
• the original of the previously issued certificate.

If the information specified in the certificate changes, the tour guide or guide-interpreter must submit the following to the certifying authority within two months after the grounds for making changes arise:

• notification of changes to the information specified in the certificate, using the form (download here);
• three 3 x 4 cm photographs;
• the original of the previously issued certificate.

Tour guides or guide-interpreters who have lost their certificate, list of tour topics, or badge are entitled to submit the following to the certifying authority within one month from the date of publication of the loss announcement on the certifying authority's official website on the global computer network Internet:

• notification of the issuance of a duplicate (duplicates) using the form (download here);
• a copy of the loss announcement in the newspaper "Respublika";
• two 3 x 4 cm photographs (if the certificate and/or badge is lost);
• the original of the previously issued certificate, list of tour topics (if available).

In case of damage to the certificate, list of tour topics, or badge, the tour guide or guide-interpreter must submit the following to the certifying authority:

• notification of the issuance of a duplicate (duplicates) using the form (download here);
• the damaged certificate, list of tour topics, or badge;
• two 3 x 4 cm photographs (if the certificate and/or badge is damaged);
• the original of the previously issued certificate, list of tour topics (if available).
