On February 6, 2025, in the assembly hall of the Educational Institution "Postavy State College",
as part of the decade for combating cybercrime, preventing crimes
committed using computer technology, and improving digital
literacy among the population, a dialogue platform "Safe behavior on the
Internet" was held. Students of the college met with the Senior Assistant
Prosecutor of the Postavy District Prosecutor's Office, T.P. Zubko, Deputy Chairman
of the Commission for Minors' Affairs of the District Executive Committee, M.P. Naganovich, and Head of the Juvenile Affairs Inspectorate of the District Executive Committee's Internal Affairs Department, D.A. Yurgelevich.
The topic for discussion was not chosen by chance. According to the results of 2024, every fourth
crime was committed in the field of high technologies. In 2024, 48
cybercrimes were committed (2023 - 28), of which 2 were committed by minors, accounting for 26.4% of
the total number of crimes.
