In order to implement Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus No. 3 of April 2, 2015 "On Promoting Employment of the Population" (as amended by Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus No. 1 of January 25, 2018), by decision of the Postavy District Executive Committee (hereinafter - District Executive Committee) No. 621 of May 23, 2025, a standing commission for coordinating work on promoting employment of the population of the Postavy District Executive Committee was established in the district.

Main Tasks of the Commission

The main task of the commission is to coordinate work on the implementation of the provisions of Decree No. 3, including:

  • organizing work to assist able-bodied citizens not employed in the economy with job placement;
  • providing advisory, methodological, and legal assistance on issues of employment and/or self-employment;
  • organizing work to inform (notify) citizens that information about them is contained in the database of able-bodied citizens not employed in the economy;
  • forming an electronic list of able-bodied citizens not employed in the economy who pay for services with reimbursement of costs, and a list of citizens who have left the Republic of Belarus;
  • reviewing applications for full or partial exemption from payment for services with reimbursement of costs due to being in a difficult life situation;
  • reviewing requests for the purpose of providing preferential loans and one-time subsidies;
  • coordinating large-scale information work to explain social and labor guarantees;
  • organizing preventive work aimed at the resocialization of persons leading an antisocial lifestyle;
  • conducting other activities within the framework of the implementation of Decree No. 3.

Rights of the Commission

Rights of the Commission:

  • to make decisions on full or partial exemption of able-bodied citizens not employed in the economy from payment for services with reimbursement of costs;
  • to provide information from the database on the classification of citizens as able-bodied citizens not employed in the economy;
  • to refer able-bodied citizens not employed in the economy to labor, employment, and social protection bodies for assistance in employment;
  • to exclude from the lists citizens who belong to the categories specified in the Regulations on the procedure for classifying able-bodied citizens as not employed in the economy;
  • to correct information about citizens who have left the Republic of Belarus;
  • to review lists for past periods;
  • to request information from state bodies and organizations free of charge;
  • to engage specialists and experts to prepare conclusions;
  • to interact with employers on employment issues;
  • to interact with territorial internal affairs bodies in conducting preventive work;
  • to interact with state bodies and other organizations;
  • to exercise other rights in accordance with legislation.
