What to do if you hear the signal "Attention everyone!"
Natural disasters, man-made accidents, natural catastrophes, and other cataclysms... Their tragic consequences can probably be mitigated in only one way – by timely warning of an impending disaster.
The most common way to alert the population is to transmit the "Attention to All!" signal. The signal is implemented by activating electric sirens for 3 minutes.
Upon hearing the prolonged "howl" of sirens, you should turn on your radio or television and listen to information about the current situation and the procedure for further actions, following all recommendations broadcast. It would not be superfluous to pass on the information to neighbors, as they might not have heard it. If necessary, provide assistance to the sick, children, and elderly. The main thing is not to panic and to suppress any manifestations of panic.
If the signal catches you at work, you need to interrupt your work process. If you are on the street at that moment, you should approach the nearest street loudspeaker, information light board, etc. The main thing is not to be frightened by the sound of sirens.
"Attention to All!" is a warning signal. It is given to attract the attention of the population and subsequently to report an accident, catastrophe, or natural disaster.
No one would wish to witness such emergencies, but, unfortunately, it is impossible to give a hundred percent guarantee that this will not happen to you, so it is important to know how to behave in extreme circumstances. And, most importantly, remember that your main enemy is panic, which most often leads only to negative consequences. Keep calm, clearly assess the situation, and strictly follow all recommendations – in this case, you will find a way out of the current situation much faster!
