BRSM

The public association "Belarusian Republican Youth Union" is the legal successor of the Komsomol of Belarus, the Youth Union of Belarus, the Belarusian Patriotic Youth Union, and the Belarusian Youth Union. The decision to establish it was made on September 6, 2002, at the unifying congress.

Any citizen of the Republic of Belarus, stateless persons, as well as foreign citizens permanently residing in the Republic of Belarus, aged 14 to 31, who recognize the Charter and program documents of the PO "BRSM", can be a member of the PO "BRSM".

The goal of the PO "BRSM" is to create conditions for the comprehensive development of youth, to unleash their creative potential, and to promote the development of civil society in the Republic of Belarus, based on patriotic and spiritual and moral values. The Belarusian Republican Youth Union unites indifferent people in its ranks, those who are not going to sit idly by, but are ready to apply their efforts and use their abilities to make their lives and the lives of their peers more interesting, brighter, and more meaningful.

Each of us has ideas, plans, and creative aspirations. They can be realized with like-minded people. Every young person should have the opportunity to be heard, to discuss issues that concern them with other interested people (peers, representatives of the older generation, experts, government officials), to find out what they can do to solve existing problems, and to receive support for their further actions. BRSM is a truly united youth union. Working in it, we act not only as residents of our city, students of our school, but also as representatives of Belarusian youth. We feel ourselves to be a part of our Homeland, a part of the Republic of Belarus.
