The State Automobile Inspectorate's campaign "Driving by the Rules!" is taking place in Belarus from July 4 to 14
The republican preventive campaign will focus on explaining safe behavior, especially at pedestrian crossings, and clarifying traffic rules regarding cycling and personal mobility devices.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs noted that traffic police patrols will be on duty near pedestrian crossings. During this period, inspectors will pay special attention to monitoring compliance with traffic rules by cyclists and individuals using personal mobility devices, as well as drivers (how they yield the right of way).
The key goal of the campaign, as emphasized by the ministry, is to eliminate the causes and conditions of road traffic injuries and to foster mutually respectful relationships among road users.
