On June 6, the republican campaign "Holidays without Smoke and Fire" starts

The republican campaign of the Ministry of Emergency Situations "Holidays without Smoke and Fire" has become a good tradition during the summer children's holidays. Its main goal is to prevent fires caused by children's mischief with fire, and to prevent child deaths and injuries.

For three summer months, from June 6 to August 31, rescuers will teach children and adults safety rules in school and summer health camps, filling the leisure time of participants with many modern, exciting, and at the same time useful educational events, including online activities.

"MES Day", "MES-LAND", the game "School of Young Rescuers", thematic theatrical performances, quizzes, online safety quizzes, master classes, excursions to safety centers, museums, and fire and rescue units, and many other diverse events from MES propagandists will allow children to show off their erudition and quick wit, demonstrate their creative potential, test their strength and endurance, but most importantly – to learn, repeat, and reinforce life safety rules.

On June 21, Belarus celebrates Father's Day. And this holiday did not go unnoticed by the employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, because fathers, along with mothers, make a great contribution to the formation and development of a child, including in matters of forming a safety culture. MES propagandists will invite active fathers, together with their children, to create their own "safe" family tree, experiment, observing safety rules, create a "safe" culinary masterpiece, show off their talents by singing a "safety hit" or preparing an "incendiary" dance. And, so that everyone can appreciate the success of the participants, rescuers will post their videos in the official MES groups on social networks.

In addition, as part of the campaign, fire safety rules will be taught to employees of children's health and school camps, including duty personnel, thematic videos and animated films from the Ministry of Emergency Situations will be demonstrated, and visual educational materials will be distributed.

Activists of the Belarusian Youth Public Organization of Rescuers-Firefighters, students, representatives of OSVOD, the Belarusian Voluntary Fire Society, the magazine "Young Rescuer", and others will help MES propagandists in conducting the campaign events. After all, preserving the life and health of children is a common goal of all adults! Also, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reminds: be an example for your child – do not let him play with matches, because in an instant a game can turn into a tragedy.
