On March 28, 2024, a regular meeting of the coordination council for monitoring the implementation of Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus No. 18 of November 24, 2006, took place. The following issues were discussed at the meeting:

1. On the work of prevention entities to protect the rights and legitimate interests of children.

Within this framework, issues such as the justification for removing children from the register who are in a socially dangerous situation, the duration of children's stay on this type of register; the work done to assist parents in this category with employment and obtaining necessary types of assistance; the work of educational institutions in early detection of an unfavorable environment for children; the quality of social investigations, based on the results of which children are not recognized as being in a socially dangerous situation; and the results of interdepartmental raid activities in families requiring increased attention were discussed.

2. On the work done to employ obligated persons, including those brought to administrative responsibility under Article 10.20 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Belarus in the form of administrative arrest for the first quarter of 2024, and on the measures taken to increase the wage level of obligated persons.

3. On the Algorithm for the response of state bodies to emergency reports of an unfavorable environment for children, facts of emergencies involving minors.
