June 28 — Unified Road Safety Day under the motto “Got in the car — fasten your seatbelt!”

On Friday, June 28, the State Automobile Inspectorate will hold a special event aimed at preventing road accidents with severe consequences.

In addition to preventing road accidents, the campaign promotes the use of seat belts and child restraint systems.

The State Automobile Inspectorate reminds that drivers who ignore the rules for transporting children in restraint systems may be held administratively liable.

• A single violation entails a fine of up to 4 basic units.
• A repeated violation within a year will result in a fine ranging from 2 to 8 basic units.
