On July 28, the State Automobile Inspectorate (GAI) is conducting a series of preventive measures titled "Driver, remember, you are a parent too!"

Since the beginning of this year, 17 road accidents involving minors have been registered in the Vitebsk region (20 in 2021), in which 1 child died (3 in 2021), 16 children were injured (18 in 2021), 4 of them child passengers.

In this regard, the State Automobile Inspectorate of the Postavy District Department of Internal Affairs will hold a set of preventive measures "Driver, remember, you are also a parent!" on July 28, aimed at promoting the use of special child restraint systems when transporting minor passengers in vehicles.

Raid groups will be organized to monitor compliance with the rules for transporting minor passengers in vehicles.
