On May 26, a camp for educational and field training of 10th-grade students was solemnly opened at military unit 25888.

The goal is to apply theoretical knowledge in practice for the subject "Pre-conscription and Medical Training".

66 young men from district schools await 10 days of intensive training (60 hours) in conditions as close to military as possible. The participants will live in a specially deployed tent camp.

At the solemn ceremony, the future defenders were addressed by: Pavel Trava, Head of the Education Department of the District Executive Committee; Dmitry Devyatovsky, Head of the Conscription Group of the Postavy District Military Commissariat; Alexander Korzan, Commander of military unit 25888; Valery Kalitsky, Director of Secondary School No. 1 in Postavy. What awaits the pre-conscripts? Drill, fire, and tactical training; study of general military regulations; basics of radiation and chemical protection; round-the-clock stay in a military unit format.
