On March 21, a solemn ceremony of special commemorative cancellation of the postal envelope "Postavy – Cultural Capital of Belarus-2026" took place at the House of Culture on Stankevich Street.

Together with representatives of the Ministry of Culture, the regional executive committee, "Belpochta" and the district leadership, the first copies of the unique envelope were adorned with a commemorative stamp.

Among the participants of the ceremony: Inna Adamovich (Ministry of Culture), Vyacheslav Durnov (Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee), Gleb Lapitsky (Cultural Center "Vitebsk"), Sergey Chepik (Chairman of Postavy District Executive Committee), Tatyana Firsova (Belpochta).

The cancelled envelope will now become not only a valuable philatelic rarity, but also a symbol of recognition of Postavy's rich cultural heritage.
